“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”

We are part of a growing aerial community, we are also part of the community where we live; and we lead by example.

In an effort to do our part to demonstrate kindness and service to others, we select local non-profit groups to assist throughout the year.

The Flagler Humane Society was our recent recipient.  Together we can make a difference.

In honor of National Random Acts of Kindness Day on February 17th and, in conjunction with, National Love Your Pet Day on February 20th the students at VertiFit Aerial Arts chose the Flagler Humane Society as the deserving recipient for these special days. Since all the VertiFit students love animals, and several who adopted their own pets from FHS, it was an easy decision.

We printed out the “Wish List” posted on the FHS website and began checking off the items. Together we collected over $2,000. in supplies including, dog and cat canned food and treats, dog toys, leashes, collars, harnesses, dog bedding and blankets, cat litter, medical supplies, and cleaning supplies.

VertiFit owner and founder Barrie Michaels stated “It’s essential to consistently demonstrate the importance of selfless acts no matter how big or small. Generosity brings joy; and ‘charity begins at home’ so, we will lead by example and hope it inspires others.”

FHS was surprised and delighted by the thoughtful and generous donation. For more information on how you can help visit ww.flaglerhumanesociety.org or your local humane society. Any day is a good day for Random Acts of Kindness.
Thank you for thinking of others and demonstrating kindness!   Sharing Is Caring!
